Ingredients

  • 4 pounds of beef bone marrow, shortribs, knuckles
  • 2 onions
  • 2 carrots
  • 3 celery stalks
  • 1 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 bay leaf

 

Instructions

First you will need to preheat your oven to 400 degrees fahrenheit. Put all your bones in a tray or platter, make sure not to stack them. Roast them for a total of an hour, 30 min one side and 30 min the other.

Chop up the vegetables and throw them into a crockpot and let the cold-filtered water do its thing. The water should be covering all the vegetables.

Now start cooking it all on low for a full 24 hours. If the water starts to evaporate, add more water as needed to keep everything submerged. When the foam starts to get crazy, trim it off really quick.

Put the broth through a fine strainer after your 24 hour wait, then throw away the vegetables and bones. You don’t need anything else anymore. Pour your reward into containers and let it accumulate the room the temperature. To preserve it, put it in a fridge. To keep it for over 2 months place it inside the freezer.
